Join the Friends of Cambridge Summer Recitals

The Friends of CSR support the work of the charity, ensuring that its aim of bringing good music to Cambridge can continue. The Friends are the backbone of CSR (CSR is the organisation which runs the Cambridge Summer Music Festival): : their financial and moral support is vital to the success of CSR’s Spring Concerts, Cambridge Summer Music Festival, outreach events and children’s programme.

Many Friends have helped us every year, some with substantial donations, making a core of loyal supporters joined by new Friends each season. But smaller sums help too and are equally valued. Many Friends generously give donations above the suggested minimum, and most complete a Gift Aid form, which, without extra cost to them, boosts every £1 to £1.28. We rely on the generosity of our individual and corporate Friends to help us fund our objectives, and to mark our appreciation, we dedicate a concert in the Festival to them.

Individual Friends

  • Benefactors – £1500 and above
  • Patrons – £500 and above
  • Supporter – £100 and above
  • Friend Single – suggested minimum £23
  • Joint – suggested minimum £40

Corporate Friends

  • Corporate Patron – £500
  • Corporate Friend – £250

As a Benefactor, Patron or Friend, you will receive:

  • Priority booking for the Festival and reserved seats when you book in advance
  • Advance publicity for all events
  • Invitations to two Friends’ receptions, one in the spring, and one in the summer, meeting other Friends, and the organisers and performers
  • A complimentary copy of the Festival Souvenir Programme, in which your name will be listed
  • Specially organised outings
